Hello there! First things first, what is your name and job role at NBP?
I’m Andy Taylor, Head of Customer Success at NBP
How long have you been with the company for?
I’ll have been with NBP six years in December
What has been your greatest achievement during your time at NBP?
After starting with the company as a marketing assistant, being made Head of Customer Success was a nice moment of recognition
What do you like to get up to outside of work?
I have a season ticket at Elland Road and do the odd bit of djing round Leeds
Do you have any hidden talents?
Not particularly – I do have a qualification in wine tasting though
What was the first album you ever bought?
I remember saving up my dinner money to buy ‘The W’ by Wu-Tang Clan – £13.99 from Woolworths. Still a classic!
What is your favourite film?
Too many to mention, but ‘True Romance’ is the one I always go back to
What is your life’s ambition?
With a four-month old at home, getting more sleep is my main ambition at the moment
Do you have any pets?
Two cats, Luciano and Pablo. Got them from Adam in Purchasing three years ago
How do you pronounce scone? (rhyming with cone or gone?)
100% rhymes with gone, and it’s cream first
What is your Karaoke song of choice?
Never done it!
Who is your bestie at NBP?
Lako and Firthy – two real straight shooters
If you could meet any famous figure living or dead, who would it be?
Big fan of Irvine Welsh’s writing, so he’d be good to go for a pint with
What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
I’d leave that for others to decide
What is your dream holiday destination?
Really fancy South America at some point
Have you ever met any celebrities?
A few, mainly footballers – Jack Charlton, Paul Reaney, Ian Wright, David James, Ross McCormack. When I used to play in bands I supported Kasabian once. Was on a flight with Matt LeBlanc years ago as well
